The quality approach

Quality Approach: Digitalization at the Service of Companies and Quality.

Example of a Concrete Case for Ambulance Companies.

The quality of care and the management of health risks are essential issues in the exercise of the activity. Among the different quality procedures, we find disinfections, equipment checks, as well as mechanical maintenance. Digitalization is involved in all the actions of ambulance personnel, and the desire to improve quality and the traceability of procedure control is no exception. Here’s a look at a solution tested by ambulance personnel.

The Concept

VESUV is a collaborative application for monitoring quality procedures. It permanently shifts all paper procedures to dematerialized procedures, accessible on any digital device (computer/tablet/smartphone). On one hand, it facilitates compliance with health regulations, and on the other hand, it provides effective management of all current quality procedures.
It allows for the precise construction of the content of these quality procedures, ensures their proper execution by the collaborators at the desired frequency, and detects and corrects preemptively the malfunctions identified through checks.

Operation

The application revolves around three main functions: creating instructions through the "form editor", executing procedures on the vehicle fleet by the ambulance personnel, the fleet manager, or the Hygiene supervisor depending on the unique organization of each company, and supervising actions (dashboards/alerts) by the operations manager, for example.

Execution of Procedures on Vehicles

The application is accessible on smartphones via a web browser or through the "application store" on Android/iOS. Ambulance personnel can connect at any time and from anywhere. They select the desired vehicle and then carry out the requested procedures. The application effectively supports them in the execution of the procedure by presenting the various operations to be carried out step by step. The operator validates each of the steps by checking or filling in the requested information (expiration date/photo taking...).

Supervision

The application offers various dashboards that provide a consolidated view of the operations performed on the vehicle fleet. The manager can view these reports directly in the application or choose to receive them by email, such as the history of execution of checks by vehicle and procedure, the alert report for equipment or care kit to be replaced, the alert report for overdue procedures, the export of the operation history in Excel format... In case of regulatory inspection or audit, these various reports allow for easy justification of the health management actions in place in the company.

Zero Paper

The dematerialization of procedures, through the abandonment of paper, contributes to the structuring of the organization of the company by providing traceability of all business practices. A real tool for the quality approach!
